Last weekend we hosted nine coaches on a training course in not only the ‘Ubabalo’ method of teaching life skills through sport, but also some helpful tips in planning and delivering coaching sessions.
We had a variety of soccer, netball, rugby and dance specialists. From all over the Helderberg basin; Strand, Somerset west, Lwandle and Gordon’s Bay. Who all enjoyed the course and are eager to try out their new skills at the Monday coaching sessions. We are delighted that they will all now be joining the coaching staff at the Helderberg Academy so that we can offer more of a variety of sports and also accommodate more young people.
