Last week, the Helderberg Academy said goodbye to Coach Mike. Mike has been with the Academy for two years and has played a significant role in helping some of the boys come off drugs and choose to stay in school. He also helped run the website and mentor some of the interns. Mike will be missed by all the children as well as the other coaches. He leaves to pursue a career in retail and complete his physiotherapy exams. We wish him all the best in his new ventures and know that he will visit the Academy in the near future.
