Last week, we learnt some new position specific skills (e.g. line out throwing). This was to enable the children to consider their own strengths and the strengths of their team mates. Some of the boys excelled in the new skills and some found them more difficult, but this provided a great opportunity for the children to learn to appreciate the skills of their team mates. It also provided the coaches with opportunities to encourage each player in their skill areas.
As you can see from the picture, many of the boys made huge improvements to their kicking technique.
